The club meets every 2nd, 4th and 5th Monday of
each month from September to June (club year) with one
meeting in July and December.
All meetings are held at Bishop Ryan Catholic
the east end of Hamilton.
Meetings are from 6:00p.m. to about 9:00p.m.
There are two auctions held at all meetings, a silent
table auction where you can bid on a number of
philatelic items and sometimes things that have
nothing to do with stamps.
At about 7:15p.m. the voice auction starts, here you
bid on items as they come up. Viewing starts anytime
after 6:00p.m.
Only members of the club can place items in the auctions,
10% of the selling price comes to the club, the rest is
payed back to the seller.
Twice a year the club hosts SpringPEX and the Fall Show,
many dealers and other area clubs attend these shows,
watch this sight for dates and times of these shows.
Membership is just $15 per year, there is also a family
membership too, see the membership desk at the club.
The club has a very large sales circuit with many thousands
of stamps for sale, the books are grouped by country
and some by theme. Only club members can sell stamps
in the circuit so sort out all your old unwanted stamps and
make a few dollars.
Our club also has a young collectors club for the younger family members.
Stamps here are just 1c each (free at shows)
There will be a number of dealers at each meeting who
can help you find what you are looking for.
In November the club holds the Christmas Tree Of Hope
auction. Watch for info about this special meeting.
Coffee and cookies will be available at all meetings.
